Polyhymnia A Cappella Chamber Chorus
Polyhymnia is a 20 to 25 voice a cappella chamber chorus directed by Steve Beck. The group specializes in music of merit that is not frequently performed. Each concert typically contains music ranging from the Renaissance to Contemporary, a repertoire that is rare among Washington area ensembles. Polyhymnia was founded by Jim Klumpner in 1991. Polyhymnia is always interested in meeting experienced choral singers. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester - February and September of each year. More information can be found on the Auditions page. |
