Polyhymnia Chamber Chorus
Polyhymnia was one of nine Greek muses who were said to inspire artists. She was the muse of songs to the gods.
Founded by Jim Klumpner in 1991, Polyhymnia recently celebrated its 35th anniversary. Our concerts consist entirely of choral music, featuring a wide range of languages, styles, and historical periods. We sing two programs per year, performing each at three separate venues in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Performances are free.
